One of Dunkin’s most viral creations has finally made it to Cebu—and I just had to try it for myself.
After trending in the UAE for its luxurious pistachio and chocolate combination, the Pistachio Chocolat donut is now available in select Dunkin’ stores nationwide, including Cebu. I spotted it recently and didn’t hesitate to grab one.

This isn’t your typical donut. It features a soft, brioche-style base filled with creamy pistachio filling, coated in dark chocolate, and topped with crushed pistachios. It’s priced at Php 120 per piece, making it one of Dunkin’s more premium offerings in the Philippines.
What Makes It Different?
In case you missed it, the version that made headlines in the UAE comes with kunafa inside—thin, crunchy vermicelli-like pastry that adds a unique texture and richness to the bite. But here in the Philippines, we’re getting a simplified (but still delicious) version. No kunafa, just pure pistachio cream filling, chocolate glaze, and chopped pistachios on top.

My Honest Review
I really enjoyed it! The flavor pairing works beautifully—the nutty pistachio cream and rich chocolate coating are balanced, indulgent, and just sweet enough without being overwhelming. It definitely feels like a “treat yourself” kind of donut.
That said, if I’m being honest, I do wish the filling had a bit more texture. The pistachio cream is smooth and luscious, but I found myself craving a little crunch or contrast inside—something the UAE’s kunafa version probably delivered better. At Php 120, I would’ve appreciated a bit more complexity to match the premium price.

Still, it’s a unique and flavorful addition to Dunkin’s lineup—and I love seeing more global-inspired items making their way to local menus. If you’re a pistachio fan, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try while it’s available.
Where to Buy in Cebu
The Pistachio Chocolat donut is currently offered in select Dunkin’ stores nationwide, including branches here in Cebu. Availability may vary by location, so it’s best to check early in the day—these are likely to sell out fast.

Have you spotted it in your area? Tried it already? Let me know your thoughts—I’d love to hear what fellow donut lovers think of this international hit turned local treat.
