After seeing Kalye Sizzlers repeatedly show up on my social media feed, I finally gave in and paid a visit to their Junquera Street branch. Tucked along a busy road in Cebu City, this streetside eatery may not be fancy—but it delivers where it matters most: hearty, flavorful food at budget-friendly prices.

Kalye Sizzlers currently has three branches in Cebu: one at Junquera Street, another in Sugbo Sentro, IT Park, and a third along N. Bacalso Avenue in Mambaling. I decided to try the Junquera branch, which, despite its compact setup, draws quite the crowd—especially during peak hours. It’s a simple space with no-frills dining, plastic stools, and sizzling plates coming out non-stop from the kitchen. Don’t expect a quiet meal; this is the kind of place where the energy is part of the charm.
What We Tried
The first thing that stood out on the menu was their Breaded Porkchop. It’s enormous—probably the biggest porkchop I’ve had in Cebu so far. Perfectly breaded and crispy on the outside, with a juicy interior that stays tender despite the size. If there’s one item that defines Kalye Sizzlers, this would be it.

We also tried several other dishes:
- Hungarian Sausage – Slightly unexpected, as it tasted more like a chicken sausage, but it was still enjoyable and well worth its price.

- Sisig – Rich, oily, and indulgent, just as sisig should be. It’s flavorful and definitely made for those who don’t shy away from a little grease.

- Grilled Pork Liempo – Marinated well, with a good balance of sweetness and char. A solid choice for liempo lovers.

- Garlic Pepper Beef – Leaning more on the sweet side, this reminded me of beef tapa with a garlicky twist. It paired perfectly with rice.

What Makes It Stand Out
What really sets Kalye Sizzlers apart is their unlimited rice and unlimited gravy, which turn every meal into a true value-for-money experience. The servings are generous, and the dishes are meant to satisfy both your cravings and your wallet. Best of all, prices start at just ₱99, making it an ideal go-to for students, barkadas, and anyone craving a filling meal without spending too much.

The staff were also worth noting—friendly, attentive, and eager to recommend dishes to first-time diners like me. It’s easy to see that they’re used to regulars and newcomers alike.
Final Thoughts
Kalye Sizzlers is the kind of place that thrives on flavor, affordability, and a laid-back street-style experience. If you’re into the streetfood dining scene or just looking for a satisfying, meaty meal with unlimited sides, this is a spot to check out.
It may not be the place for a quiet sit-down dinner, but it absolutely delivers for casual lunches, post-class hangouts, or late-night cravings. Come hungry—and definitely come with an appetite for rice.
