More Than Just Samgyupsal: Discover Da-In Korean Restaurant’s New À La Carte Menu

When people think of Da-In Korean Restaurant, the first thing that usually comes to mind is their well-loved samgyupsal. For years, it has been one of Cebu’s go-to Korean restaurants for quality barbecue, generous banchan, and an authentic Korean dining experience.

But during my recent visit, I discovered that Da-In has something new in store. Alongside its signature samgyupsal, the restaurant has introduced a selection of new à la carte dishes that deserve just as much attention.

A New Way to Enjoy Korean Comfort Food

One of the newest additions to the menu is their Baek Ban, a traditional Korean-style set meal that’s perfect for anyone looking for a complete and satisfying meal. Each set comes with rice and an assortment of side dishes, making it a great option whether you’re dining solo or simply craving Korean comfort food beyond barbecue.

Among the Baek Ban selections, I got to try the Salt Soaked Pork, which lets the natural flavor of the pork shine through with its light seasoning and tender texture. The Korean Wings were crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, making them incredibly easy to finish.

My personal favorite, however, was the Glazed Pork Ribs. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and coated in a rich sweet-savory glaze that paired perfectly with steamed rice. It’s definitely one of those dishes I’d come back for.

More Must-Try Dishes

Aside from the Baek Ban, we also got to try the Gochujang Pork Ribs, which offered a delicious balance of sweetness, smokiness, and spice from the gochujang sauce.

Another highlight of the meal was the Mixed Meat Budae Jjigae, a hearty Korean stew loaded with a variety of meats and ingredients. Served bubbling hot, it was comforting, flavorful, and perfect for sharing with family or friends.

A Fresh New Look

The experience doesn’t stop with the food. Da-In has also recently refreshed its restaurant interiors.

The space has transitioned from its previous warm brown palette to a more vibrant design featuring cool blue hues accented by Korean-inspired murals. The updated interiors feel brighter, more modern, and create a welcoming atmosphere that makes dining here even more enjoyable.

Why You Should Visit

While Da-In remains one of my go-to places for samgyupsal, it’s great to see the restaurant continue to evolve by offering more ways to enjoy authentic Korean cuisine. Their new à la carte menu adds plenty of variety, making it a great choice whether you’re planning a Korean barbecue feast or simply looking for a satisfying meal without firing up the grill.

If you’ve only visited Da-In for its samgyupsal before, now’s the perfect time to come back and discover everything else they have to offer.
