You’ll find it at the 2nd Floor, North Wing Expansion of SM City Cebu, making it a convenient stop whether you’re shopping, catching up with friends, or simply craving something sweet.

A Warm and Cozy Cafe You’ll Want to Stay In

One of the first things I noticed was the café’s interior. The warm lighting, wooden accents, and cozy atmosphere make it feel inviting the moment you step inside. It’s one of those cafés where you can comfortably enjoy dessert while taking a break from the busy mall.

Whether you’re visiting for coffee, dessert, or just looking for a relaxing place to unwind, the ambiance definitely adds to the experience.

What I Tried

Mango Sticky Rice Kakigori

This was the dessert I was most excited to try. The Mango Sticky Rice Kakigori combines fluffy Japanese-style shaved ice with sweet mangoes and sticky rice, creating a refreshing dessert that’s perfect for Cebu’s warm weather.

The flavors were enjoyable, especially if you like mango desserts. My only observation is that it melts quite quickly, so it’s definitely best enjoyed as soon as it’s served.

Aside from their drinks and desserts, After Tree also offers a selection of cakes displayed beautifully inside the café. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply craving a slice of cake with your coffee, there are plenty of options to choose from.

One item I was really looking forward to trying was their famous Egg Tart, which many customers recommend when visiting After Tree. Unfortunately, during our visit, several items on the menu including the egg tarts weren’t available yet, likely because the Cebu branch had only recently opened.

That just gives me another reason to come back and try more from their menu!

If you’re looking for a new dessert café in Cebu, After Tree Dessert Cafe is worth checking out. The cozy ambiance, aesthetically pleasing desserts, coffee selections, and variety of cakes make it a nice place to relax after shopping or catch up with friends.

While not everything was available during my visit, I still enjoyed what I ordered and I’m already looking forward to returning—especially for those famous egg tarts!
